Terms of Service
Welcome to ShowShowShow. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and ShowShowShow (“ShowShowShow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your use of our website, app at https://app.showshowshow.app, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. What ShowShowShow is
ShowShowShow is a personal tool for tracking, organizing, and scheduling the shows, movies, and anime you want to watch. We display title information (such as artwork, descriptions, and episode data) sourced from third-party providers. We do not host, stream, or distribute any films, series, or other video content, and we are not affiliated with any streaming service, studio, or content provider.
2. Your account
You need an account to use most features. Accounts are created and secured through our authentication provider. You’re responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the Service.
3. Subscriptions, billing & auto-renewal
The Service offers free features and optional paid subscription plans. The features and fees of each plan are described at the point of purchase. By starting a paid subscription, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.
- Auto-renewal: Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (for example, monthly or annually) at the then-current price, until you cancel. We’ll charge your payment method on each renewal unless you cancel before it occurs.
- Payments: Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We don’t store your full payment card details.
- Price changes: We may change subscription prices. If we do, the new price applies to future billing periods, and we’ll give you reasonable notice where required by law.
4. Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, you’ll keep paid access until the end of your current billing period, and you won’t be charged again after that.
Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unused time.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
- scrape, copy, or harvest data from the Service except as expressly permitted;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our permission; or
- upload content that is illegal, infringing, or violates the rights of others.
6. Your content
Content you create in the Service — such as your library, lists, lineups, schedules, notes, and reviews — remains yours. You grant us the limited license needed to store and display it back to you in order to operate the Service. You’re responsible for the content you create.
7. Intellectual property
The Service itself — including its software, design, branding, and original content — is owned by ShowShowShow and protected by intellectual-property laws. Title metadata and artwork are the property of their respective owners and providers. Names of shows, movies, networks, and streaming services are trademarks of their respective owners; our use of them is for identification only and does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
8. Third-party services and content
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, for authentication, payments, analytics, hosting, and title metadata) and may link to or surface third-party content and websites. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that title information will always be accurate or complete.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShowShowShow will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $50.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction — e.g., your state/country], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
